When Christmas shopping, my friends, family, and following base were all buying products from Etsy and supporting small businesses. Everything from quarantine to a new COVID variant has stressed small businesses across the globe. Thankfully, December is full of gift-giving holidays. The community of influencers, bloggers, and social media users all did their part in supporting these small businesses by purchasing and gifting their products. Now it's the end of the first month of 2021. Things are re-opening.
Onto month 2...
February. Most commonly known for Valentine's Day, Snow Days, Educator workshops (no school!), and finally, Black History Month.
Black History Month should be celebrated now more than ever. Considering what happened in 2020, there should be no debate about this. Not only is Black History Month a fitting time to support Black-owned businesses, but so is Valentine's Day.
There's nothing I love more than a new makeup palette, nail polish, or skincare product. Of course, a box of chocolates and heartfelt card is nice too. But anyone who REALLY knows me knows that I will squeal and jump in the air over a cosmetic product.
Here are some Black-owned Beauty brands to shop in the spirit of Black History Month, a new year, and Valentine's Day. Just click on an image and it will direct you to shop via Amazon Prime!
All the peace,
